Terrafirma steering dampers are a significant upgrade over the original fitment. An improvement in control over rough surfaces is acheived even with much larger wheels and tyres fitted. Drivers have reported a marked reduction in feedback from bumps as well as in many cases eliminating the 'shimmy' associated with live axle 4x4s.
